JANNIE FREDO

Jannie Frendo, born 1950 in Naarden (The Netherlands).

After living a time in England and Germany, where she continued her studies, Jannie settled in France in the Dordogne.

From young, Jannie had always enjoyed drawing and the encounter in 2003 with the painter Robert Gratte was to confirm her artistic inclination. Later, she continued to study with the Impressionist Pierre Van Dyke and with Robert Billant, Ecole des Beaux Arts Paris.

By means of a technique of swift instinctive strokes, she gives her works an impression of being instantaneous.

A range of different media, oils, gouache, acrylic and pastels, are employed to create a feeling of gentleness and harmony.
